According to research article, “Nutrition and Lifestyle Intervention on Mood and Neurological Disorders”, it found that applying several different interventions consisting from specific supplementation, dieting, and exercising had an association on helping to benefit those who were experiencing certain emotional or neurological disorders in their everyday life.

This study was conducted by Dr. Null who took on a group of men and women to join his program. It states that this was a, “lifestyle modification study on the impact of lifestyle and diet on individuals suffering mainly from cognitive decline, Parkin- son’s disease, anxiety, or depression” (Null, 2017). He had them follow very specific instructions like a vegan diet to juicing and exercises in a specific time period.

Mental Health

Testimonials were gathered from each individual that participated. By sharing their specific improvements most gained a lot of energy and positivity. They found that, “Five subjects with mood disorders reported major reversals in their conditions” (Null, 2017). This shows to be a great alternative to those who want to take control of their health by applying similar interventions like in this study to improve their lifestyle but with the help of a medical proffessional.

Food Intolerance & Mental Health

Food intolerances can significantly impact ones daily life. When a persons digestive system does not tolerate certain foods this can affect how one will feel physically and mentally.

If one is intolerant to dairy the symptoms they begin to feel may lead to becoming anxious or feeling insecure. Specifically being in a public setting this can make one feel very uncomfortable than if they were by themselves. According to Mind.org, they suggest that if one is worried about having an intolerance they should consult a professional like a dietitian for help.
